Ahead of All Parting for Mezzo-Soprano, Bassoon, and Harp by Jenni Brandon takes the listener on a journey through memory, death, and the beyond. This work was an important collaboration between Darrel Hale, the lead commissioner, and Jenni Brandon, the composer. It also marks a special and on-going collaboration between Takin’ Souls duo and harpist Stephanie Gustafson.
